Silk Care Guide

M.COSTA scarves are created from fine 100% silk and should be handled with care to preserve their color, softness and finish.

Handling

Avoid snagging the silk on jewelry, zippers, rough surfaces or sharp objects. Handle with clean, dry hands whenever possible.

Perfume & Cosmetics

Apply perfume, hairspray and cosmetics before putting on your scarf. Allow products to dry fully before the silk comes into contact with them.

Cleaning

Always follow the care instructions included with your scarf. Use a cleaning method suitable for fine silk and avoid bleach, harsh detergents or aggressive wringing.

Drying

Do not twist or wring silk. Keep it away from high heat and prolonged direct sunlight while drying.

Storage

Store your scarf clean and dry, folded or gently rolled, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it for long periods.

Pressing

If pressing is needed, use a silk-appropriate low-heat setting and protect the fabric from direct high heat.
